I think Max5 looks great, and will make my own gui only when something has to be combined or some other reason that I' have not discovered yet. I guess JSUI is great for some things, but as I do not like to spend time on things that something else can do I used LCD for the sliders. LCD can do a lot of stuff out of the box, and by using LCD you'll save some time on the programming side of things if you can use any of LCDs embedded functionality. I was looking around for a way to skin a custom UI on top of Max. I will say that you have managed to make the actual Max controls look nice. I did see that you can do some skinning of controls using the pictctrl object but I was wondering if there are other good options for UI skinning. Seems that jsui is kind of DOA.
